Here are the steps to adopt a kitty from Krazy for Kats!

We are a private adoption group and interview all of our adopters prior to visiting The Kat House. This is so we can match your lifestyle to the right kitty and to also make sure we find the very best home for our furry friends. We get many applications each week and reserve the right to adopt our kitties to the home that we feel will fit their needs. Please read our Adoption Policy & Returns before submitting an application.

Please follow these steps before contacting us to be considered for adoption.

  • An adoption questionnaire is required to be filled out and sent to us before we contact you.
  • Application may be reviewed for 24 hours before contact.
  • We then do an in-depth phone interview to asses your adoption needs for the available kitties.
  • Adoptions are scheduled by appointment only one family at a time. Plan on staying up to 2 hours.
  • You must have a current drivers license and be (21) years old to adopt.
  • You must live close enough for us to do homecheck before and after adoptions.
  • You must live at a secure, pet friendly home and if renting have landlord approval to have animals.
  • Applications do not automatically guarantee adoption from Krazy for Kats.

Answer each question fully and save to your computer to email back to KFK.  Sorry, incomplete questionnaires will not be accepted.

If you need assistance or unable to download the questionnaire, please send us your contact information and one will be emailed within 24 hours. This in a request only and is not your adoption application.
